YOU saw, maybe not.. what lay behind those green moist eyes..
yet YOU were kind of there, most of the times under those good and bad skies

YOU felt, maybe not what went through ME, when your hand did touch
YOU probably never sensed it all.. maybe you did, but didn't care much

I was there, YOU knew, with you at all and every time
YOU enjoyed with me, laughed with me during all those sessions of tequila and lime

Yet, I loved YOU and you did too, but not as a lover
and again, I was with you each day, with tons of emotions to cover

When YOU screwed up at times in life
there was no one but ME in all that trife

Lovestruck!!

What is this love? I sat thinking yet again..
binging to find what it does mean I know its wierd to think - ‘wtf is loooove’ at 25, especially after all what each of us in life has seen

It isn’t just the quintessential feeling of ‘butterflies in stomach’ that love is supposed to give
But it’s that fulfilling enriching experience that even makes a person on his death bed want to again LIVE

Disputing myself and my SRK who quoted in DTPH, “there are signs which God gives to indicate that you’re in love now”
Now I feel, it comes without any indication or signal.. there is no when, no where or no how...

It’s a nameless existence which starts with moments and gradually makes you feel its presence felt
It’s then you connect with someone.. and even his look can make your heart melt

Disputing myself again, “You’re not in love when you start enjoying dancing in the rain”
Love’s when you don’t realise it’s thundering or storming and you’re walking comfortably holding his hand in the rain...

Love happens when you connect even if you’re sitting in two faraway corners of the room and your message is conveyed by your eyes
It’s that beautiful emotion which makes you accept all his/her imperfections.. coz then life is so transparent.. and there are no lies..

Love happens when there is no PDA required, coz the vibes in the air convey your touch
Love happens when you’re back home at 3 am disturbed and he is awake waiting for you just to say ‘ im here and i love you so much’

Love is a strength and not a weakness, never let it be..
Be happy to fall in love and don’t ever regret it or wee..

Love can’t be manipulated by some formula or rules..
Whoever said that were a bunch of fools..

There is no phase/ date, love happens just like that...
Enjoy those moments, coz we live the best moments of life then coz the feeling is ‘bombat’

Shifting focus to the patiala peg of life :)

At times we try too hard to figure out where we are...
are we close enough to where we wanted to be or we’re still too far

We fret on why certain things happened the way they did...
At times we chase things as if basis that our life was on a bid

We keep pondering over why he said that and why she did not say
Even if things did not happen acc to our fancies, it still moves on, come what may

We wait for a stoopid sms from a crappy no-one to come and that proves he/she loves us!
Fools, wake up... life is not about these petty things... move on else u may miss the life bus!

Relax and don’t stress over such small things in this beautiful life today
Coz these are situations which may even cease to exist maybe tomorrow or even end of the day

Life was, is and always will be what we make of it.. So let’s make it large and enjoy every bit :) Ignore the 30 and 60 mls of life from now on..Cheers to patiala peg of life, bring it on :)
